Creative Spark Week 36

Creative Spark Week 36

Let’s do a little catch up before jumping into the party.  I had hoped to have a regular post out for you before now, but I’ve been slowly settling back into regular life.  I’ve been doing some behind the scenes web work (and house work).  The web work is related to the Silhouette Challenge.  The first challenge will be next Monday, so you’ll know that I’ll have a regular crafty post then.  The house work on the other hand…. well, that’s been my bigger problem.  You see, Earl and I decided that we were *finally* going to go through all the stuff in the basement and finish up the attic, which is where all our books and most of my craft stuff is going to be neatly organized and stored.  But… well… we’re still in the middle of organizing.  And this means that I can’t actually find anything that I need!  And I really do mean anything.  Our christmas cards (the ones I wanted to show you the other side of as soon as I got back from Europe)… well, those still aren’t finished.  So they will be going out rather late.  Sorry family.  I bought some more leather for projects… but I can’t even find my rotary cutter to block it out.  It’s on the list for things to do this week.

As for more travel stuff, well that I can promise you’ll get more of very soon.  I’m pulling the random recipient of the coasters later today, so I”ll be sure to post that with a few other travel tidbits.  And now that most of life is actually settling back where it’s supposed to, I’ll be able to focus on writing up some more of those place by place posts, followed with the final re-cap via postcards.

I have a bunch of exciting ideas going forward into 2015, but I figured I’ve bored you enough with chatter, so let’s get into this link party!

Maybe it’s because I’m writing this post during dinner time, but this bread is making me salivate.  It looks sooooo yummy.  Garlic and onions are some of my favorite root vegetables, and you can never go wrong with cheese.  Mmmmmmmm  Cheeeeeese….

Ok, I admit that I almost glanced right over this one, but I’m so glad that I didn’t.  That’s a soda bottle guys.  A soda bottle.  Seriously.  Awesome.

5 Ways To Spark Your Creativy by Little Girl Designs

This one is a little different for me.  Usually I tend to gravitate towards projects where there is a physical outcome.  I like this though.  It suites the new year.
